​To appreciate the involvement of the National Adau Gayoh Festival Committee recently, an Appreciation Ceremony was held on 24th May night, for the working committee and performance participants. It took place at the Tutong District Civic Centre Complex.

Awang Muhammad Usamah bin Haji Sarbini, Acting Tutong District Officer in his speech among others said the Adau Gayoh Festival acts as a medium for enriching and preserving cultural heritage as well as a platform to introduce the culture to the younger generation so that it does not vanish with time. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
