Charity Event Collection Presentation

Five non-governmental organisations received proceeds from Charity Event Collections in conjunction with the 30th Civil Service Day. The ceremony was held at the Public Service Department on 25th May afternoon.


The collection proceeds were handed over by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary for Public Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office. The recipients comprise the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, the National Welfare Fund, SMARTER Brunei and Yaska Brunei. A total of $5,700 was collected during the Charity Event in conjunction with Civil Service Day with the concept of charity while doing recreation by collecting funds from the proceeds of clothes sales as well as the Charity Collection boxes provided at Taman Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien on the 19th of May.
