​As most of the country's intending pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform the haj, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia visited several hotels in Madinah where the intending pilgrims are staying to ensure their comfort and needs are cared for.

His Excellency took a closer look at Madinah Hilton Hotel that accommodates intending pilgrims who are using Attaqwa Travel Tours package, and Dar Al Taqwa Hotel where intending pilgrims using the Strait Central Agencies package are staying. His Excellency also visited Rawdah Royal Inn where over 600 intending pilgrims using Darussalam Services Sendirian Berhad package are staying, and Shaza Regency Plaza that accommodates over 100 intending pilgrims who are using haj packages from Raudah Al Amin Travel Agency, Titian Travel and Tours, and Dar El Ehsan Travel Sendirian Berhad. Meanwhile, Saja Al Madinah accommodates intending pilgrims using Al Hijrah Travel Tours Sendirian Berhad package. Also present, Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, Acting Consulate General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah, and Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad, Haj Management Director as the Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Management Office.
