The Textile Exhibition symbolises the strong and growing cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of Bangladesh over the past 40 years. It also celebrates cultural heritage, and appreciate the craftsmanship, creativity, as well as beauty of textile art, and commemorates the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

 

Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Halus, Acting Director of Museums made the remark at the launching of the Textile Exhibition on 2nd July morning, at the Malay Technology Museum in Kota Batu. The exhibition was inaugurated by Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also present, Her Excellency Nahida Rahman Shumona, High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the country. It is open to the public until the 16th of July.
