Seeds Brunei, a local drama society, has performed another production titled `Seuss!' for their annual end-of-year activity.

The production was shown from November 25-27 at Studio 4, Radio Television Brunei Sungai Akar.

`Seuss!' is based on the works of Dr Seuss, and weaves together tales and characters from at least 15 of his books.

The show follows the adventure of Horton the elephant, who one day hears voices coming from a speck of
dust.

Over 60 students from upper secondary and higher institutions were involved in the production of 'Seuss!'.

Students' roles are not limited to onstage performers but also backstage crews that include stage managing, costume and props making, in makeup, set designing, publicity and marketing, sound and lighting.

Teachers from various schools, local talents and volunteers supervise and assist students in the production.

Seeds Brunei has been supported by the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education since 2008 with the help of teachers, volunteers and art enthusiasts.

It is established to encourage students to express themselves dramatically, to build their confidence and to gain stage experience.

They also conducted art workshops and seminars throughout the year for registered students to prepare them for this end of year activity before they graduate.
