One of the ways or efforts to achieve happiness in the Hereafter is to increase charity. A practice whose reward will continue to flow until the Judgement Day, even if the person who did the practice has passed away. The matter was among the content of Friday Sermon titled "Provision for the Eternal World". The sermon also touched on the seven types of practices that are classified as charity.
First, knowledge that is spread. Second, pious children that are left behind. Third, religious books that are left inheritance. Fourth, mosques that were built. In this regard, the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has given the public the opportunity to do charitable work, especially for Muslims in the country to spend part of their wealth with the intention of performing religious deeds and multiplying charity welfare solely to reap the rewards promised by Allah SWT through the Brunei Darussalam mosque construction fund. Fifth, houses built as accommodations for those who are traveling. Sixth, rivers that are made to flow for the benefit of the public and Seventh, wealth that is donated.
