Two compound fines were issued to two companies during operations carried out by the Licensing and Enforcement Section of the Brunei Muara District Office at several areas in Kampung Serasa and around Muara Town.

Abdul Sattar Sendirian Berhad and Arzwanina Sendirian Berhad were each issued with $2,000 fines for committing offences under Section 12(1), Miscellaneous Offences Act, Amendment 2021.

Business owners or managers as well as individuals are reminded not to take lightly the offences that have been committed and are ordered to pay the compound fines immediately and to clean up the area that has been turned into an illegal dumping ground.
