'Operasi Kabat'

Several locations were inspected by the Law Enforcement operation under 'Operasi Kabat' carried out by the Department of Immigration and National Registration.

 

During the operation targeting a rental house in Mukim Sengkurong, a foreign national was arrested. The individual was found to have committed the offence of not working with the original employer and not working according to the position stated in the employment pass. Meanwhile, during an operation on a construction project site in Mukim Belait, two foreign nationals were arrested for failing to provide valid documents.  One of them was found to have committed the offence of not working with the original employer. Meanwhile, another individual was found guilty of recruiting the individual to work without informing the original employer.
