Three foreigners were arrested and taken to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation. The arrest was made as a result of Operasi Kabat carried out by the Department of Immigration and National Registration through the Law Enforcement Division, Kuala Belait Branch.

The operation targeted the houses of foreign workers in Mukim Liang. As a result of the operation, two of them were believed to have overstayed in the country after their immigration passes have expired. Meanwhile, another person was believed to provide protection to immigration offenders.
