Royal Brunei Navy Celebrates 51st Anniversary

The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently celebrated its 51st anniversary with a parade comprised 220 personnel at the RBN parade square led by Lieutenant Commander Rasman bin Puteh.
The Commander of RBN, First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, in his speech pledged the RBN's undivided loyalty to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the
Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The Commander of RBN underscored that reaching 51 years represents an important milestone.
However, an organisation is not only viewed by its longevity but also what it has achieved and contributed towards its transformation.
The Commander of RBN also awarded 17 officers and other ranks and this year, Lieutenant Nazurah binti Haji Mahaleh, RBN became the first female officer in RBN's history to receive the Command Badge. She is currently in command of the RBN Fast Interceptor Boat KDB MUSTAED.
