12 thousand Expected to Congregate Taman SOAS

Muslims from around the world will be celebrating the Mauld Nabi every 12 Rabiulawal. Brunei Darussalam is not excluded as all four districts will be involved to commemorate the glorious occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on a national level.
A briefing was held during at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA).
Acting Permanent Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid in his speech said the ministry had received a participation of more than 100 teams and rally the celebration.
An estimated of more than 12 thousand participants with be gathering at the main event point at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in the capital as well as other main points in other districts .
Awang Haji Harun urged participants to congregate early before the arrival of His Majesty and gather at their respective meeting points to ensure the event runs smoothly. He also added that to ensure smooth flow of event, roadwork and maintenance repairs should be made before the event.
He stressed that the participants are already in the garden and fill their places provided before the On a separate speech, Lt. He said that there are four categories, namely the category of School / Arab / IPT / College / Private / Ministries and Government Departments / Association and Kampung Masjid.
