Over five thousand Primary Four religious school pupils nationwide began their school session, 2nd January 2025, and joined the Admission programme called the 'Sekolahku, Ilmuku, Ugamaku, Keberkatanku' or SIUK programme. It was one of the initiatives by the Islamic Studies Department to improve religious education quality by providing a positive and conducive learning and school environment.

In Brunei Muara District, 3,577 pupils from 76 religious schools are joining the 4-day programme. Various religious activities have been lined up with the goal of raising awareness on the importance of religious education.

Meanwhile in Belait District, 746 pupils from 16 schools are taking part in the SIUK programme, which can empower positive Islamic values among the pupils.

598 pupils from 30 schools in Tutong District are joining the programme. The activities lined up reflects the preparations made for the pupils to start their learning session and adapt to the school environment.
