​264 new students joined the Politeknik Brunei Orientation Week for the 14th intake, January 2025 session. In his speech, the Acting Director of Politeknik Brunei among others, emphasised the importance of students to be more independent and understand academic principles and good study ethics at the said institution.

Pengiran Doctor Saiful Baharin bin Pengiran Haji Duraman also hoped that the students take advantage of the opportunity to achieve excellence towards becoming a highly skilled human resource to contribute to the country's socio-economic development. The Orientation Week includes various programmes, briefings and activities that can help students get to know Politeknik Brunei in an in-depth manner.
