Two companies and two individuals were issued compound fines by the Licensing and Enforcement Division, Brunei Muara District Office for committing offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act Chapter 30.

 

Restoran Seri Mama Express was fined $500, while Restoran Haji K.K. Koya dan Anak-Anak Tiga was imposed with a $1,000 fine.  Meanwhile, Taufik and Shavanas Muhammed Ayoob were fined $100 respectively.

 

In default, the case will be taken to court. If convicted, the penalty will be not exceeding $9,000 for an individual and not exceeding $30,000 for a company or imprisonment not exceeding 12 months or both.
