The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development has announced the upgrading of a junction at Rimba Highway with slip road from Tungku Highway to a signalised intersection.

The traffic lights at the intersection which will begin operating today (December 9) at 9am are intended to increase the level of road safety and efficiency of traffic control.

The traffic lights will allow the motorists to exit the slip road and turn right to get to Kampong Tungku and Kampong Jerudong in a safe and orderly manner.

The department advised all motorists that use Rimba Highway to drive more carefully, be alert and obey road traffic signs.
