The issue of land demarcation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia received a response from Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The borders of both nations will only be finalised after land demarcation works are completed and agreed by both parties. At the same time, the enforcement agencies of Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia will continue to work closely in patrolling its respective borders, as well as cross-border activities.
