The Ministry of Education (MoE) recently held a Dikir Syarafil Anam at the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar as a prelude to the upcoming Maulidur Rasul celebrations.

Deputy Minister of Education Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar led the gathering in the mass recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with the Isyak prayer and concluded with the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan.

Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education Dr Haji Junaidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman was among those present, while other congregants included students .from local institutions of higher learning, including those from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Politeknik Brunei.

The event is an annual activity for the ministry, and it was jointly organised by the Curriculum Development Department, the International Affairs Unit and the Secretariat of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council.
