JSKLL, JPD Conduct Joint Roadblock

The Traffic Control and Investigation Department ( JSKLL) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and the Land Transport Department ( JPD) continued its intensive roadblock operation in Belait District.
The operation was conducted in conjunction with the school holiday season.

 

ASP Fathdillah bin Haji Abdul Hamid, JSKLL's Head Of Operations and Enforcement said the operation main objective is to increase driver's attentiveness to rules and regulation's while using the motorways. Such operation also aimed to thwart criminals from using the motorways.

 

Among the other objectives of the operation are to ensure safety of all road users and to enhance the efforts of enforcement under the National Road Safety Council; enforcing the traffic regulations; to reduce the number of
accidents especially during the school holiday season; and inculcate a sense of responsibility amongst motorists towards the traffic regulations.

 

The RBPF through the JSKLL reminded motorists to always ensure their vehicles are in good condition and always abide by the laws.
