Junjungan Ziarah Ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration, Morning

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam graced a Junjung Ziarah ceremony at Baitur Rahmah, Istana Nurul Iman. On the first day, 36,167 well-wishers visited Istana Nurul Iman for the Junjung Ziarah ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The ceremony that is open to the public reflects the care, warmth and sincerity of His Majesty and Her Majesty in together celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri with the people this year.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received in audience and junjung ziarah from the male well-wishers. Also present were members of the Royal Family.
36,167 well-wishers visited Istana Nurul Iman for the Junjung Ziarah ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Well-wishers in the morning session included officers and staff from the Prime Minister's Office, government officers, uniformed personnel and the public.
The Junjung Ziarah ceremony is a much-awaited opportunity for local and overseas visitors, especially after Istana Nurul Iman was closed following the COVID-19 pandemic several years ago.
In another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri received in audience and junjung ziarah from the female well-wishes. Also present were members of the Royal Family.
The ceremony provides a golden opportunity for all walks of life to share happiness and cheer of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The morning session recorded 21,106 well-wishers for the Junjung Ziarah ceremony.
