His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam graced the Junjung Ziarah ceremony at Baitur Rahmah, Istana Nurul Iman. Throughout the two days Istana Nurul Iman was open to the public, 61,888 people were recorded for the audience and junjung ziarah.

On the first day, there were 36,167 well-wishers. 25,721 visitors were recorded. From the figure, there were 17,266 well-wishers in the morning session.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received in audience and junjung ziarah from the male well-wishers. Also present were members of the Royal Family.

In the morning, well-wishers comprised the differently-abled, government sector staff, and the public. The Junjung Ziarah ceremony is a long standing tradition that strengthens solidarity between the Monarch and the people. In another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri received in audience and junjung ziarah from the female well-wishes. Also present were members of the Royal Family.

All levels of society took this golden opportunity for an audience and junjung ziarah towards His Majesty.
