Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have taken the next step in their romance two months after the Saturday Night Live alum and the model debuted their romance during a Florida outing.
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are getting serious.
Two months after the Saturday Night Live alum and the model hard-launched their romance on social media, they’re celebrating reaching a huge milestone in their relationship.
In fact, the couple has been living together in New York for the past few months, a source confirmed to E! News, adding, “they’re very happy together and excited about this next step.”
Rumblings of the couple’s budding romance began back in March when the pair spent some time soaking up the sun while on a trip to Florida—during which they never missed an opportunity to sneak in a kiss or hold hands as they climbed out of the water.
And within a matter of days, Pete, 31, and Elsie, 29, confirmed the rumors and went Instagram-official with a subtle video shared to the Bupkis star’s Instagram Stories March 20. In the clip, the couple appeared to be watching the opening credits of Rugrats before Elsie panned the camera to her boyfriend entering the room wearing nothing but a smile and a white robe.
More recently, the duo stepped out for a casual date night in New York City, wearing coordinating athleisure ‘fits. And while Pete hasn’t been shy about stepping out into the spotlight with Elsie—who’s previously been linked to Jason Sudeikis, Ryan Phillippe and Benny Blanco—he has recently opened up about the difficulties of maintaining relationships in the public eye.
“Everyone is dating everyone and it’s Hollywood,” Pete—who has been linked to Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande—told Page Six in February. “But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell.”
Indeed, the King of Staten Island star expressed that he would much rather be recognized for his talent and accomplishments—and not who he was seeing at the time.
“It’s embarrassing because you want people to write about your work,” he continued. “I was one of the youngest ever cast members on SNL and all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating.”
