Alec Baldwin—who shares a daughter with ex Kim Basinger and seven kids with wife Hilaria Baldwin—joked about what his ideal Father's Day would entail in an exclusive interview with E! News.

Alec Baldwin wants to be the boss, baby.

That's why the 30 Rock alum—who is dad to 29-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin with ex Kim Basinger and seven little ones with wife Hilaria Baldwin—believes the ideal Father's Day entails "me time" where he gets to call the shots.

"I'd ride my bike to Virginia," the New York-based actor quipped to E! News at the 2025 Gotham TV Awards on June 2. "I'll have a long time with fresh air."

After all, according to the 67-year-old, it's already challenging enough finding alone time with Hilaria, with whom he shares children Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, Ilaria, 2.

"We escape our house by the skin of our teeth to leave our kids," he shared of their typical date nights. "A 90 minute dinner, and then we go home and go to bed."

But for Hilaria, she'd rather spend her special day immersed in family chaos. As she noted on Instagram last month, "Mother’s Day is being together."

"Remembering the journey of making these little people," she continued, sharing photos from her pregnancies through the years. "Playgrounds, climbing trees, homework, random Baldwinito fitness class."

And these days, she's also embraced the title of grandmother after Ireland welcomed a daughter named Holland in 2023.

“It’s so wonderful because we were pregnant together, but just barely," Hilaria, 41, shared on a March episode of TLC’s The Baldwins, explaining how her youngest child is "almost nine months older than Ireland's baby."

"It's unique for a stepmom and stepdaughter relationship, because that's technically what we are," she continued of her and Ireland's dynamic. "First of all, I'm 11 years older than her. I didn't raise her and we find tremendous humor in that, and we always have found tremendous humor."
