Pusat Standard dan Akreditasi Brunei Darussalam, PSABD, Ministry of Finance and Economy conducted a Standards Awareness Workshop focusing on two key international standards, namely ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals. It was held at the D&T Building, Kampung Anggerek Desa.

The workshop was officiated by Dayangku Hajah Nadiah Annasyitah binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Director of PSABD. The workshop is part of a broader effort to raise national awareness, build institutional capabilities, and support the aspirations outlined in Wawasan Brunei 2035 and the Brunei Darussalam Economic Blueprint. Participants explored how the standard enables organisations to proactively identify hazards, mitigate risks, and foster a strong safety culture across all levels. It brought together participants from government agencies, private enterprises, and academic institutions, with the aim of promoting best practices in safety management and environmental accountability.
