The existence of the Brunei Malay Teachers Association, PGGMB as a social welfare organization especially a social welfare organization for teachers, with its Malay Teachers Iktisad Programme, indirectly brought a moderate mind-set among its members and the public.

The Minister of Religious Affairs said that PGGMB in the past was among the majority of Bruneian society who were modest, rational, and did not rush to respond to the issues facing Brunei at that time.

Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin Bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, stated the matter during the Launching of the 75th PGGMB General Meeting, Administrative Session 2024-2025 this morning. It was held PGGMB School in Kampung Sungai Akar.

Also held a Presentation of the PGGMB Senior Member Award 2025 in conjunction with commemorating its 86th anniversary to three members; certificates of appreciation to former members of PGGMB Executive Committee for 2022-2025 Session; as well as the presentation of Certificates and Prizes for 15 Outstanding Students in PSR Examination 2024.
