The Flag hoisting and presentation ceremony to Mukim Penghulus was also held at three districts, 1st July morning.

At the open area of the Brunei Muara District Office Building, the ceremony was officiated by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.

While Taman Persiaran Menara Cendera Kenangan Kuala Belait became the focal point for a similar ceremony. The national flag was presented by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister for Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office. Also present was a Member of the Legislative Council.

The handing over of the flag in Tutong District was officiated by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile in Temburong District, the event was held at the Mukim Bangar Civic Centre Complex Car Park. The flag was handed over by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy, Ministry of Finance and Economy. Also present was a Member of the Legislative Council.
