Korean Proficiency Test Still Accepting Applicants

Members of the public, who would like to register for the Test in Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) that will take place on March 19, 2017 at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Language Centre, can download the application form at the Korean Embassy's website on Monday.
Designed to assess and certify the language proficiency of learners of Korean as a foreign language, TOPIK test results can be used as a guideline for placing foreign students into Korean universities of nonnative workers into enterprises in Korea or overseas.
TOPIK is eligible to overseas Koreans and foreigners who do not speak Korean as their mother tongue, those learning Korean language with intentions to apply for Korean universities, those with intentions to work for domestic or overseas Korean companies and public organisations, and Koreans who have studied or graduated overseas.
Interested applicants should register and submit to the Korean Embassy the completed application form submitted to the Embassy's new chancery at the diplomatic enclave.
Accompanying the form are two coloured passport-sized photos (3x4cm), a copy of Identity Card and test fees ($30 for TOPIK I and $35 for TOPIK II).
Applications should be submitted between January 3-13 next year during office hours except on Saturday and Sunday. If there are less than five TOPIK applicants, the test is subject to be cancelled. The Language Centre coordinates and teaches language and communication courses within UBD and the community.
