Ghanim International Corporation Sdn Bhd, Golden Tree Sdn Bhd and Pure Fresh International Holdings Limited herald the first shipment to the China market with the delivery of a container of Blue Shrimp Crackers under the bruneihalalfoods brand. The Blue Shrimp Crackers are locally produced by Merimin Sdn Bhd and are included in one of the many bruneihalalfoods product lineup that are manufactured in Brunei.

Ghanim International Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Golden Tree Sdn Bhd and Pure Fresh International Holdings Limited in October 2016 with the intent of integrating the three parties' competitive advantage for international business development.

During the M0U signing, Dr Nur Rahman, CEO of Ghanim International Corporation, stated that the Chinese and Muslim markets are areas that have great potential to be tapped into.

"It is a big milestone for Ghanim and our partners. This first shipment is the first of many to come and we are excited for bruneihalalfoods and Brunei as a whole as the China market is a very abundant in resources and opportunities. After ongoing discussions with Golden Tree and Pure Fresh, we were finally able to deliver on the M0U," stated Dr Nur Rahman.

With more than 50 bruneihalalfoods product offerings ready and many more coming on board through the products that local Brunei small and medium enterprises (SMES) can offer, Ghanim International Corporation is expecting more shipment of containers of bruneihalalfoods products over the next few months to China and other markets. Ghanim International Corporation will continue to work closely with local manufacturers to produce products that are innovative and wholesome, and having them export-ready.
