Course on Food Processing, Safety Management Held

GADONG, BRUNEI-MUARA
Around 20 artisan food vendors attended a one-day course run by Sweet Buttons Enterprise, on food processing and safety management.
The course was conducted by Awang Maidin bin Tinggal from Seads Consultancy Services, who had the task of instructing the food vendors on basic hygiene, food processing and safety.
Among the topics discussed yesterday was food contamination and poisoning, pollution prevention, self-hygiene, proper food storage, sanitation, disposal and pest control.
Participants were also briefed on the Food Safety Act.
