Ahmad Taufiq bin Murni won the first leg of the Brunei Darussalam Cue Sports Association (BCSA) National 9-Ball Ranking Challenge 2016 yesterday with 75 points. The event was held at the Fullcan Pool and Snooker Centre, Scout Headquarters building, Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong.

In second place was Khalid bin Haji Abu Bakar with 57 points; and third was Pengiran Mohd Faiq Hafizuddin bin Pengiran Haji Jalaludin with 65 points.

A total of 16 players took part in the competition yesterday.

Registration for the 3rd to 8th leg are still open while registration for the 2nd leg will close on 27 April 2016. The challenge is open to Yellow, Green and Red IC holders and registration forms can be obtained at the Pro X Pool House; Master Alim Pool and Cafe; and Fullcan Pool and Snooker Centre.

The Grand Final for top 16 players will be held at the Billiard and Snooker Hall II, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on October 29 and 30.
