Two families involved in recent house fires was given contributions from the collection of tithe money after getting the attention from Brunei Islamic Religious Council(MUIB). Amounting to 2 thousand 4 hundred dollars, the money were presented by Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop, the Acting Secretary of MUIB.

The recipients are Awang Haji Mahdini and Awang Haji Mahadi bin Haji Mahri from Kampong Lambak Kanan and Awang Md Tarip bin Abd Ghani from Kampong Lumapas 'B'. The assistance is intended to alleviate the burden of the victims.
