24 outfits consisting of 19 boys and 5 girls’ teams are battling to lift the first-ever Times Square Shopping Centre 3-on-3 Under-18 Basketball Tournament that started yesterday afternoon.

Organised in collaboration with Shooting Stars Brunei and Fitness Zone, the tournament provides students an opportunity to showcase their skills and athleticism.

The three-day competition will also see local players obtaining official International Basketball Federation (FIBA) ranking by the end of the competition.

Played on a round robin basis, the top teams will qualify for the knockout stages. The final will be played tomorrow at 5pm.

Members of the public can catch the action at the entrance of Times Square Shopping Centre.
