Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan Paid Courtesy Visit to Permanent Sectaries of MCYS

Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Pakistani Deputy High Commissioner, called on Dato Paduka Dr. Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin as well as Datin Paduka Dr. Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to discuss matters of bilateral interest.
Dato Paduka Dr. Haji Affendy informed the envoy that the country is striving to establish a vibrant, intelligent, informative, resilient, healthy and balanced community. The country's sportspersons are competing at all levels and winning medals for the country. Meanwhile, Datin Paduka Dr. Hajah Norlila explained that culture and history is being promoted through continuous efforts. The dedicated efforts are aimed toward achieving a caring society and enhancing the spirit of volunteerism.
Both parties look forward to foster cultural ties between the two nations, which may start with the opening of the Pakistan art and craft exhibition on April 23 at the art gallery in the nation's capital.
