PIP Briefing in Temburong

The Education Intervention Programme (PIP) is made to improve children with poor academic performance and help families in need. Yesterday, the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah held a briefing at its centre in Temburong.

Present in the briefing was the Assistant Managing Director of Yayasan, Hajah Donnaliza binti Abdullah Puasa. The Guest of Honour was Haji Mustapha bin Haji Matahir, Assistant Managing Director of Yayasan.

 

The briefing covers the description of Yayasan's project to parents and students. A motivational talk was also delivered by Ustaz Shahrul Azmi bin Haji Mulok, Assistant Lecturer at Core Knowledge Centre of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).

 

78 students from 8 primary schools in the first centre of Temburong district were identified to participate in the PIP programme at Rataie Primary School, while 43 students from Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Temburong were identified for the second centre.
