Pakistan’s Military Leader Visits Brunei

General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan will make his maiden visit to the Sultanate of Brunei after assuming duties in November 2016.
He along with his delegation is visiting Brunei Darussalam from today to April 8.
During his three day official visit, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, will visit defence related establishments and meet senior officials to discuss issues of bilateral interest.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni AlMarhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has also consented to receive in audience General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.
General Zubair Mahmood Hayat is the highest ranking military officer of Pakistan. His visit to the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam is likely to give new impetus to already existing excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
