A number of benefits can be gained by mosque congregants attending the "Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat" programme, organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Mosque Affairs Department, Islamic Dakwah Centre and the Islamic Syiar Development Division in collaboration with the Omar Ali Saifuddien mosque.

The programme early this morning was filled with a pre-dawn lecture, which among others touched on the features of 'Baldatun Tayyibatun wa Rabbun Ghafur' or An Excellent Nation, Blessed by Allah the Most Forgiving.

Among those present was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Awang Roslan bin Haji Tajaah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The talk which was delivered by Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar, the Acting Assistant Director at the Islamic Dakwah Centre, highlighted several features, including a fair leader who cares for the welfare of his subjects, as well as pious residents with strong faith in Allah Subbahanahu Wataala. He added that a prosperous nation is created with a spiritual and physical balance as well as residents being grateful for the blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wataala.
