The Haj Guidance Course is aimed at providing intending pilgrims with more knowledge and understanding on how to perform the Haj.  38 intending pilgrims from Temburong District have attended one such course at Temburong Arabic Preparatory School.

The 10-day course which is conducted by the Haj Management Department takes place on Fridays and Sundays.  Among other things, the sessions prepare the pilgrims for the Haj so that they can perform it properly.  Apart from the essential rituals of the pilgrimage or Haj, the course contents include many more lessons related to the Haj and Umrah or the lesser pilgrimage.  The participants say the course is very helpful to them.
