The safety sign installed at Berakas Forest Reserve and Muara beach is hoped to remind the public to take precautionary measures while at the beach area. Senior Superintendent of Fire and Rescue Noor Aflan bin Awang Kadi, Commanding Officer of Operation 'C' branch made the reminder in an interview with RTB.
He further explained that the signs installation at Berakas Forest Reserve and Muara Beach among other things aimed to prevent any untoward incidents. The signs also displayed on steps to contact safety agencies such as Fire and Rescue Department in case of any emergencies. The public are reminded not to swim alone and parents should not let children to swim without supervision.
