Brunei Darussalam and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China continue to enhance cooperation in the field of business, trade and investment through working visit. Last night a dinner to welcome the Governor of Guangxi Autonomous Region and delegation was held.

The dinner for His Excellency Chen Wu was hosted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office. Cooperation between the two parties is not only based on the 'Brunei-Guangxi Economic Corridor' but also through 'China-ASEAN Expo' which was participated by the country since 2004. This year, Brunei Darussalam will be the country of honour for the 14th China-ASEAN Expo which will be held in Nanning, China in September. Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Dato Paduka Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister's Office; and Her Excellency Yang Jian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam.
