The society had its members perform several activities including sonnet recitations, medieval costume displays and performing melodious medieval ballads.

During the second session of the show, the much anticipated dramatic presentation of Romeo and Juliet enthralled the audience who experienced the joys and pathos of the famous tragic romance by William Shakespeare.

Witsy Mathew, MSPSBS 'O' Level English Literature tutor, noted that as English is now the Lingua franca of the world, it is important for students master it for their creative skills.

She further added that while science develops the mind of the student, literature develops their hearts and concluded that while medicine and engineering are noble pursuits; poetry, love and beauty are what we stay alive for.
