The Mosque which is also called the House of Allah has a vital role not only as a place of worship but also as a centre for community activities.  Hence, it is the responsibility of all parties to look after its cleanliness to ensure its sanctity is maintained both inside and outside.   In this relation a cleaning campaign was held at the Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town, Temburong this morning.

The campaign was held to glorify the mosque as well as to instil and nurture the love for its beauty and cleanliness.  It is one of the initiatives to raise public awareness on the importance of concern and responsibility in maintaining the cleanliness of the mosque and its surroundings.  It is also to inculcate the spirit of cooperation among the mosque committee members and village residents.
