Drug abuse among the society is of a concern and should be tackled in a more serious manner. Realising this, parents, guardians and the public should know of the importance of preventing and controlling their children from becoming involved in drug abuse. This was shared during the Monitor Our Children Programme held yesterday at the Kampong Bukit Multipurpose Hall in Mukim Ukong, Tutong.

The programme was organised by the Information Department through the Monitor Our Children Programme Committee with the cooperation of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Internal Security Department and Attorney General's Chambers. The briefing talked about the harmful effects of drug abuse among society and cyber crimes. Apart from that, exhibitions by the Information Department, Narcotics Control Bureau and Internal Security Department were also held.
