​The Heads of Mukims and Village Chiefs also play a role in supporting and making a reality of the implementation of Wawasan Brunei 20-35 towards ensuring that the country's citizens and residents have a mutual responsibility for its implementation. The briefing on Wawasan Brunei 2035 was presented to the Heads of Mukims and Village Chiefs in the Belait District. It was organised by the Wawasan Brunei 2035 Standing Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The briefing on Wawasan Brunei 2035 was delivered by Awang Mohd Yusre bin Haji Manon, Grade Two Special Duties Officer, who among other things explained on the aspects of governance, the Wawasan Framework and efforts towards its implementation. Present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin and Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, members of the Legislative Council. Also present were Awang Nadzri bin Haji Yahya, Acting Director of Wawasan Brunei 2035 Standing Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office and Awang Haji Adnan Bin Adam, Acting Belait District Officer. The briefing was held at the Dewan Emergency Operation Centre-DEOC, Belait District Office.
