Perak blew the Malaysia Super League (MSL) title race wide open on Sunday evening by winning 3-2 at home to Felda United at Stadium Perak in Ipoh.
The victory was only Perak's second of the season and means that Felda stay on level on 21 points with reigning champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), who drew 1-1 at Kedah on Saturday.
Perak took the lead after just 13 minutes, thanks to Firdaus Saiyadi, but 10 minutes later Francis Forkey Doe levelled for Felda. And 10 minutes after that, the in-form striker put the Fighters ahead.
The scoreline remained the same until 14 minutes from time when Elias equalised for the Bos Gaurus. In the final minute, the Brazilian striker struck again to give Perak a famous win.
While Felda stay top on goal difference, Perak climb up to eighth above Terengganu.
In the evening's other fixture, there was similar drama as T-Team won 3-2 at Penang.
The result, a fourth successive win for the team from Terengganu, lifts the newly promoted side above Selangor into third place.
Ibrahim Asrol put T-Team into the lead on the half hour and just before the break Brazilian striker Patrick gave the visitors a 2-0 advantage.
Penang, without a win in the previous six games, fought back. Just after the hour, Brazilian defender Lobo reduced the arrears and with 16 minutes remaining, Nigerian star Osas Ikpefua levelled the scoreline.
Both teams seemed to have settled for a point before Patrick got his second and T-Team's third of the game to give the visitors a fourth straight win, plunging Penang further into the relegation zone.
The Panthers are above bottom team Sarawak only on goal difference.
