Thirty-six students from Politeknik Brunei, Lumut Campus accompanied by three lecturers recently paid a visit the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) in Seria, Belait District.

As part of the curriculum activities, the first year students under the Petroleum Engineering programme were given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge further through the touring of the oil and gas exhibition at OGDC.

They were briefed by OGDC staff on the science and engineering principles involving the formation of earth, oil and gas exploration and different methodologies to enhance hydrocarbon recovery from the reservoir.

The students were also given the opportunity to exercise their team work skills 'through the team building activity. The activity was aimed to improve their teamwork, develop trust and problem solving skills.
