The 'Kontena Park' consisting of 5 container units and an alfresco seating area for customers to dine in, organised by Board Members of Darussalam Enterprise, DARe aims to provide an affordable place for 7 startups to validate their products.  The vendors located at the 'Kontena Park' are locals providing locally-made food and products which have been operating for one year or less.  The 'Kontena Park' was launched this morning at Anggerek Desa Technology Park.

The launch was officiated by Dato Paduka Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance and Deputy Chairman of DARe. The retail space will act as a validation point for the newer micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, MSMEs to test their products and take full advantage of how DARe can help them whether through capacity building or in the future leveraging on micro financing schemes to help their business grow.

The Kontena Park is located behind iCentre in Kampung Anggrek Desa and will be operating from 7 in the morning to 10 at night, with a break from 12 noon to 2 in the afternoon during Friday prayers.  During the month of Ramadhan, the Kontena Park will be operating from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening for retail vendors, and 9 at night to 1 in the morning for food vendors.
