AFC 'B' Certificate Coaching Course Held at NFABD House

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA
An opening ceremony to mark the commencement of the AFC 'B' Certificate Coaching Course which is organised by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) was held yesterday at the Multipurpose Hall, NFABD House.
Present as the guest of honour for the opening ceremony was Awang Haji Mohd Noor bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Executive Committee member of NFABD.
Also present were Mike Wong, Technical Director of NFABD; Stephen Ng; AFC Certified coach and instructor; as well as other executive committee members and NFABD staff.
During his speech at the opening ceremony, Haji Mohd Noor stated that it is hoped that the course will be able to produce coaches who are really committed, proactive, prepared. and willing to sacrifice their time to offer their services to clubs that are in the Super League and the Premier League.
The course commenced yesterday and will continue until May 14. Participants comprise 14 selected coaches who hold AFC 'C' certificates, 13 local and one from Singapore.
The course is a pre-requisite to complete the coaching programme to certify them as 'B' certificate coaches.
Wong and Ng will lead the course and teach the participants theories of Course Administration; Introduction to Game Systems / Individual; and Group & Team Tactics, among others.
