His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to declare Thursday, 5th October 2017 to be a public holiday.

The public holiday is in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty’s ascension to the throne and the final day of the Golden Jubilee celebration.
