The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) yesterday conducted a health education briefing in the Islamic perspective, organised by the Faculty of Education at Ta'alim Hall of the university college.

The briefing was delivered by KUPU SB Acting Ra'es, Ustaz Dr. Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar.

In the aspect of education, seeking knowledge is the responsibility of every educator and they should have good physical, mental and emotional health for them to be able to deliver knowledge. The importance of healthcare should be taken seriously because it contributes to an educator's excellence in carrying out his duties and responsibilities, he said.

The objectives of the briefing were to raise awareness on the significance of living a healthy lifestyle among the academics and staff members of KUPU SB, as well as to create educators who are able to balance spiritual and physical health and become the best role model possible to the students.

Also in attendance were Dr. Abang Haji Hadzmin bin Abang Haji Taha, Assistant Ra'es; Pengiran Anak Haji Damit Baharuddin bin Pengiran Anak Safiuddin, Acting Registrar; senior officials of KUPU SB; and faculty deans and directors.
