"Al-Quran Temanku Menceriakan Hidupku", is the theme of the National Level Nuzul Al-Quran celebration this year. The ceremony will be held on Sunday night, 17th of Ramadhan 1438 Hijrah corresponding to the 11th of June 2017, at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre, Berakas. Among the contents of the celebration programme are the Announcement of the winners of the National Al-Quran Memorisation and the Interpretation Musabaqah Final 1438 Hijrah and the National Al-Quran Memorisation and Interpretation Musabaqah Final among MABIMS Member Nations 1438 Hijrah.

Apart from that, a book sale and an Islamic calligraphy activity will also be held. This year's Nuzul Al-Quran celebration will be conducted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs with the cooperation of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and a combination of three Islamic financial institutions, namely Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei and Takaful Brunei Darussalam.
