Tabuan Under-17 head coach Ali Haji Mustafa acknowledged the effective combination and movement of his charges in the 5-1 win against Panchor Murai FC at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex yesterday.

The national youth side were rampant in the first half, scoring five goals but their performance levels dropped in the second, letting Panchor Murai take over most of the possession.

Ali also expressed his satisfaction on how dangerous his side were in a counterattack and their resolute defending despite unable to emulate their strong first-half displays.

Tabuan Under-17's participation in the Brunei DST Premier League served as a platform to aid the development of the youth team in preparation for international matches.

At the Berakas Sports Complex, Aimmil Rahman Ramlee scored a late equaliser three minutes from time to ensure Setia Perdana remain unbeaten in a 1-1 draw after Rimba Star had taken the lead for most of the match through a third minute strike from Awangku Md Nur Syafiq bin Pengiran Besar.
